On Thursday May 20th at a 11am, Biofresh Managing Director, Jonathan Caisley, will lead a webinar with SPECIFIC and Swansea University to showcase the collaborative project in development of ozone sanitisation systems for Welsh schools.
Over the last few months, Biofresh have worked closely with the University of Swansea and SPECIFIC to develop a powerful but mobile ozone sanitisation device for use in larger areas such as classrooms.
“Biofresh were delighted to work closely with Swansea University to develop an ozone sanitisation unit capable of rapid treatment of school rooms. Their experience and advice helped us to develop our Cubo3 XLV significantly to match the requirements of schoolroom sanitisation. Rapid sanitisation of rooms is a critical part of the measures needed to ensure the safe reopening of schools and businesses, and the work done between Swansea University and Biofresh can contribute to that effort”.
The research was funded by UKRI and the Welsh Government, and SPECIFIC’s work is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government.
